Updated property valuation guidance for citizenship applications
On 29 September 2026, Türkiye’s land registry authority published updated versions of two property valuation circulars. They set out the qualifying firms and the time limits for valuation reports and investment-amount confirmation documents.
What changed
A qualifying valuation firm must be SPK-authorized, hold active TDUB membership and participate in TADEBİS.
The updated wording specifies a 12-month use period for valuation reports. The interval between the investment-amount confirmation document, or TTB, and the citizenship-related transaction application must also not exceed 12 months; beyond that, its underlying report must be renewed.
Who is affected
Applicants preparing valuation documents for citizenship through property acquisition.
Why it matters
Firm qualifications and document dates matter when planning the transaction and application. Older files require their own assessment.
What to do next
Before ordering a report or submitting a file, check the firm’s qualifications and the report/TTB dates against the current guidance and the handling authority’s requirements.
