Who may drive a temporarily imported foreign-plated car?

The holder’s spouse, ascendants and descendants are included in the permitted group when resident outside the Turkish Customs Territory. Other people resident abroad may use the vehicle only while the holder is in it.

Family relationship alone is insufficient: residence and, for some drivers, the holder’s presence also matter.
